GP Circuit Drift 23rd August

6:30pm to 10:30pm
This is NOT a beginner or first timer’s event.
This is for experienced entrants only.
This event is a Drift practice night.
Location, SMSP’s Gardner GP Circuit Layout (3.93km)
No timing or competition.
Some cars will drive parts and drift parts some cars just drift.
If you want these events to happen again we can not cause any damage.
Rules are simple.
If you damage the track, track edges, or grass we have no choice but to end your event.
Cars are allowed to Drift, while in the drift zones only.
The requirements are:
* Your car meets or exceeds the scrutiny requirements.
* You do not damage the track or track edges.
* If you can not stay on track or look out of control you will be removed.
* If you dirt drop while turning tires or come off the track and turn tires on the grass you will be removed.
* You do not drive slowly, It is not a race but it is not a cruise.
* You need to be moving and not slowing down in the corners to do power skids on the straights.
* Cars will be released from pit lane in singles, pairs or groups pending what the entrants would like to do. With a gap between, pending the previously released cars or car.
* NO Drift areas being the main straight, turn 1 and turn 6.
* NO stopping on track. The pit lane is in use.

.Maximum entrant capacity is 55 (Entry is for 1 car and 1 driver only)
.If you have a second driver that driver must fill in an entry form.
.Cost is $380 with a garage for the first 40 only
.Note we only have access to 40 garages. The first 40 people booked and paid will get the front and back of a garage. You can share with a friend and fit 2 cars in a garage.
Others will have to pit in the carports.

Cars could be registered or unregistered as long as they comply with requirements.

You do not need a roll cage to enter for the circuit unless you have a
convertible/ open roof vehicle or you would like to take passengers and the car
is not registered. If the car is registered you do not need a roll cage to take a passenger.
Entry is not guaranteed. All entries are subject to Driving Sports final approval.
Entrants may be asked for more information on their driving experience and or car specs before an entry is accepted.
